The Lion's Gate Portal is a powerful cosmic event that occurs once every year during summer in the Northern Hemisphere. It occurs when the sun is in the sign of Leo (the Lion) and the brightest star in our sky, Sirius, rises on the eastern horizon to align with Orion's Belt. These three stars in the Orion constellation match up with the three pyramids in Giza, Egypt during this 8/8 portal.

The Lion's Gate Portal can be thought of like a gate swinging open through both time and space. It allows us even greater access to ancient wisdom, our inner self, and our spirit guides and ancestors. There are also practical aspects of the Lion’s Gate including increased productivity, creative energy, greater abundance, and amplified healing.

The Lion’s Gate Portal occurs on August 8 - 8/8 - and the number eight symbolically represents timelessness, perfection, and infinite capacity. This date offers us a potent ebb and flow: an opportunity to work directly with both the expansion and contraction that is necessary for all new beginnings.

On 08 August 2025 I conducted a Lion’s Gate Portal Elder Futhark Rune Reading on behalf of the collective.

Using a full set of Elder Futhark Runes, I cast the runes, intuitively divined their meanings, and wrote down their messages.
